It's that time of year again! The GCSE May/June 2024 series of exams' timetables have just been fully published by all exam boards, which means that everyone can make a plan and see when their exam dates and times will be! The exam boards include OCR, AQA, Pearson Edexcel and Eduqas. The times of each exam and their individual GCSE components (i.e. paper 1, paper 2, etc.) and lesser-known qualifications have all been published.

When is the last 2024 GCSE exam?

This depends on the exam board. Every year, the last exam varies in date, but the final exam for most exam boards is Physics Paper 2 on Friday 14 June, similar to 2019. This is widely seen as the date when GCSEs finish in 2024.

Some lesser-taken GCSEs end on Wednesday 19 June - there are no more after this date. This date includes Food preparation and nutrition and Japanese Paper 4.

When do GCSEs start in 2024?

Monday 13 May is the day regarded as the first A-level day for the 2024 exam series. A few subjects such as French and other languages have earlier deadlines for oral components, which can be worth over 30% of the overall grade. Many schools also require non-examined assessment (NEA/coursework) deadlines and the EPQ well in advance of the exams.

When is GCSE Results Day 2024?

GCSE results day is a week after A-level results day. It's on Thursday 22nd August 2024 - schools are given results the day before, and your grades are typically made available or sent to you from 9 AM on the day. Be sure to have a long rest before the date, you deserve it.
